The Power of Natural Body Care Products in Your Routine

In a world where self-care and wellness have taken center stage, it's no surprise that people are becoming increasingly conscious of the products they use on their bodies. Natural body care products have emerged as a vital component of modern body care routines, offering a plethora of benefits that go beyond just skincare. From nurturing your skin to supporting the environment, the importance of incorporating natural products into your body care routine cannot be overstated.

Your skin is an elaborate defense mechanism designed to protect your body from invasion making it extremely important to protect it. Skin grows from the inside out, progressively pushing older layers of skin cells toward the surface. Consider how you take care of your body and as your planning your body care routine consider the ingredients that on your soap and lotion labels. it's also important to consider what's in your face scrubs, the soap ph level of what your cleansing your face and body with.

If you're unsure what your body care routine should include, consider these body care supplies to take care of your body:

  • Use an all natural, exfoliating, moisturizing scrub to cleanse your skin. Using a body scrub will greatly enhance the removal of old cells and provide stimulation to the formation of new skin cells. We get asked how to use a body scrub, in general, use our aromatherapy scrubs similarly to the way you use soap.

  • Avoid the temptation to take long, hot showers. The heat strips skin of natural oils and can cause inflammation. Try a warm shower and keep the door closed to retain humidity. Soak in a warm bath with aromatic Epsom salts for a healing, soothing experience for ultimate body care experience.

  • Replenish dry skin with hydrating Almond Oil and herb based body oils. Your skin will 'drink' it up and the oils will encourage new cell growth while leaving your skin looking polished and healthy.

You already know that all Zeeta Body Oils contain essential oils that penetrate through the outer layers of skin to the nerve endings, sebaceous glands and they can also cool (or warm) the body. A few of our favorite cooling oils for summer skin therapy are Chill Out, Sun Kissed and No Worries Body Oil.

Since the skin is also an excretory organ, eliminating up to one-quarter of all our bodies metabolic waste, its good practice to use natural skin care products and to dress in clothing made of natural fibers. This will avoid blocking the skins important excretory process.

My last bit of advice is to drink water. We tend to drink more water when it's really warm outdoors but our bodies need hydration just as much during the fall and winter as they do during the hotter months of the year. Work towards drinking one ounce of water for ever pound of body weight every day, this is a general rule that will work for most people.

Stay cool, stay hydrated and stay amazing!
