Epsom Salts, the many benefits of soaking your body in some

Now that you’ve learned about the different benefits of salt, I’d like to share with you the huge gains to be made by soaking your body in a beautifully aromatic bath soak.

Our soaks are made with Epsom Salts of the highest quality, along with pure Essential Oils that are good for the body and the soul. This means that you can reap the benefits of magnesium bath salts by using Zeeta Body Salt Soaks in your bath or as a foot soak.

Most of our lives are fast paced and full of stresses. Our constant doing and giving can take a toll on our overall health. Bathing is a great way to take some time out for yourself, and for some people, it's the perfect way to find some much needed alone time. A warm soak of any nature is relaxing and will help reduce stress and anxiety while relieving muscle tension and pain. Take a bath to slow down and reconnect with life forces: water, essential oils & salts, to nourish & rejuvenate your systems.

Soaking in Epsom Salts benefits the body in a number of ways. Mostly, epsom bath salts are an excellent way to replenish your body of magnesium. Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the human body, which is essential for good health. Proper magnesium levels will help to maintain healthy bones, hair and nails, relieve headaches, regulate blood sugar and blood pressure levels. Soaking in epsom salts will also help reduce muscle tension and fatigue associated with illness or over-worked muscles. These salts are known for their therapeutic values and are perfect for soothing sore muscles and to restore & relax your body.

We often get asked what the correct amount of epsom salt for a bath is. The answer is, it depends on the size of your tub and the strength you prefer. We recommend at least 1/2 Cup of epsom salt for an average size bath tub, more if you have a garden or Jacuzzi size tub. We have different essential oil blends available to address certain needs. See below for what is currently available.

  1. Relaxing Bath Salts: Relax your mind and stimulate your senses with this blend of Bergamot and Lavender, both excellent mood stabilizer oils. This combination with pure Ultra Epsom Salts will penetrate tight muscles and release tension.

  2. Lavender Bath Salts: Soak in pure lavender bliss with these Bath Salts to reduce stress, muscle tension and induce sleep.

  3. No Worries Foot Soak: When an entire body soak is not possible or desired, similar beneficial effects can be had by soaking just your feet. It’s said that the pores on the soles of our feet are larger than the pores on the rest of our body. Therefore soaking your feet in this peppermint and tea tree bliss is an easy way to detoxify, relax and care for our entire being.

With all the benefits to be gained by using magnesium rich epsom bath salts in the tub, a long soak could almost be viewed as a medical treatment; a healthful way to care for body and soul.

Cheers to a relaxing and beneficial bath tonight!
