DIY: At Home Pedicure

It's summer! As much as we love sandals and long days outdoors as the next person, we know how much our feet suffer the consequences. Now that we are going to the salon less frequently, it’s necessary to take care of our feet now more than ever. Luckily, we have the perfect at-home remedy for tired, cracked, neglected feet.

Introducing the Zeeta Pedicure Kit.

This collection bundles 4 products that are perfect for a spa session at home. It makes caring for cracked, dirty feet as easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1: Soak With No Worries Foot Soak

In a basin or bath, mix ¼ - ½ cup of No Worries foot soak with enough warm water to cover your feet. Soak feet for at least 10 minutes to soften and cleanse skin. Magnesium sulfate, commonly known as Epsom salt, is popular in soaks for its healing and pain-relieving properties. The peppermint and tea tree oil in No Worries foot soak have powerful anti-fungal properties to fight against toe fungus and athlete’s foot.

Step 2: Relax with Lavender Aromatherapy Spray

While your feet are soaking, sit back and relax. Take a deep breath and enjoy a moment of calm. Soothe your senses by spritzing Lovely Lavender aromatherapy spray. Known for its anti-anxiety and de-stressing properties, lavender calms the mind and promotes relaxation.

Step 3: Exfoliate with Happy Feet Scrub

Post-soak, your feet should feel soft and ready for exfoliation. Scoop a moderate amount of Happy Feet scrub onto each foot. Be sure to do this over the basin or tub, or outdoors, it can get messy! Using the pumice brush provided in the kit, scrub feet and ankles. As a salt-based scrub, Happy Feet is especially formulated to eradicate tough, dead skin. Pure essential oils found in this polishing scrub like patchouli and lemongrass are ideal for their anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and heal dry skin. Once this process is complete, your heals will look and feel noticeably smoother.

Step 4: Moisturize your toes with aromatherapy oil

Don’t forget this step! A quick rule of thumb is to moisturize after exfoliation. This includes your feet! Ensure that you reap the benefits of your pedicure completely by applying a moisturizing oil on your feet, ankles and legs. If you have the time, relax with your feet elevated until the skin absorbs the vitamin-rich blend. For maximum hydration, apply socks onto your feet after application. Socks lock in the moisture from the oil and allow the skin to absorb it over a longer period of time.

That’s it! By following these steps, you’ll be surprised at how noticeably smooth and soft your feet are. Try a Pedicure Kit for yourself for successful at home pedicure. Let us know what you think, tag us on your posts @zeetabody.
