  • Living in small spaces, Van Life

Are you romanticizing the idea of Van Life? Living in small spaces, such as in a van or an RV, can indeed be rewarding, but it comes with its own set of challenges. Let's explore both the rewards and challenges of van life: Rewards of Van Life: Simplicity: Van life forces you to simplify your life. You only have room for essentials, which can lead to a minimalist and clutter-free lifestyle. Using multi-purpose products, like our herbal body oils for skin can be a game changer. Choose body oils that also act as a natural bug repellent so you can stay moisturized, healthy and bug bite free! Mobility: Living in a van provides the freedom to travel and explore different places easily. You can wake up to a new view every day and connect to nature. Cost-Effective: Van life can be more cost-effective than traditional living arrangements. You save on rent and utilities, and some van lifers even find ways to make money on the road. Connection to Nature: Being closer to nature is often a significant draw for van lifers. You can park your van in remote and beautiful locations, experiencing a deep connection to the natural world. Community: There's a tight-knit community of van lifers and longterm RV'ers who share tips, advice, and support. Many van lifers find a sense of belonging within this community. Challenges of Van Life & Life on the Road: Limited Space: The most obvious challenge is the limited living space. It can be challenging to find room for all your belongings and to live comfortably in a compact area. This forces you to choose your personal belongings carefully. Hygiene and Sanitation: Access to showers and bathrooms can be limited when living in a van. Maintaining personal hygiene and managing waste can be a challenge, especially in remote areas. Using multi-purpose products life facial oils to care for skin and also as a cleanser to oil cleanse. Have natural sprays available to use as both a natural hand sanitizer and a room/van deodorizer and as a personal body spray. Weather Conditions: Extreme weather conditions, whether it's extreme heat or cold, can be tough to handle in a van. Proper insulation, clothing and climate control are crucial. Social Isolation: While van life offers freedom, it can also lead to social isolation. Consider this if you struggle with long periods alone or away from your friends and family. Maintenance and Repairs: Vans require regular maintenance, and breakdowns can happen, potentially stranding you in unfamiliar places. Get familiar with your rig to make the most of your time on the road. Limited Amenities: You'll have to sacrifice many amenities that come with traditional living, such as a consistent source of electricity, a full-sized kitchen, and a stable internet connection. We already mentioned limited space: Vans are small, so you'll have to be really organized and only bring the things you need. Van life can be a great experience, but it's important to be aware of the challenges before you commit to it. Ultimately, van life can be an incredibly rewarding experience for those who embrace its challenges and appreciate the freedom and simplicity it offers. It's important to plan carefully, do thorough research, and be prepared for both the highs and lows of this lifestyle before embarking on the journey. However you choose to travel, have a safe and rewarding trip!

  • Natural Bug Repellent

We get asked about this often so here are your answers to all questions about essential oil based bug repellents. Thank you for inquiring! Blog refreshed on 9/19/23, originally written in 2016. Does it exist? YES! Does it work? YES! What's in it? Natural oils, sometimes water & witch hazel too, other times our herb infused base oil. It's the perfect time of year to be outside but sometimes those pesky bugs prohibit our fun (and leave us so darn itchy!). And if you're like me and don't like to purchase or use products containing harmful ingredients, you may feel lost when looking for a natural alternative to traditional bug sprays. It's a good thing, then, that Mother Nature provides us with natural repellents to these bugs. Let's all be curious as to what we're applying to our skin, inhaling into our lungs, and getting in our delicate eyes. Below we will identify several essential oils that serve as effective bug repellents as well as ways to safely apply them. Natural Bug Repellents in the ZeetaBody line Oils: apply to your skin prior to time with the bugs, safe for children Take a Load Off Happy Hippy No Worries Eucalyptus Chill Out (pictured: Zeeta Body bug repellent) Sprays: apply to your skin, clothing & hair prior to time with the bugs, safe for children Brain Boost Defuse Smudge Scrubs: Use when you bath prior to time with the bugs, safe for children Euphoria Happy Feet Poppin' I first tested my products as a bug repellent a long time ago while hiking in Southern Utah with my old dog Kona. I started my day as usual by washing my face and applying Luscious Facial Oil. However, while applying this beautiful and floral scent it occurred to me that I was planning on walking through mosquito filled woods after a fresh rain and the Jasmine and Lavender in that blend would actually attract bugs. And because I was away from home, my options were limited. Luckily I had some Smooth Pre-Shave Oil with me, which contains Eucalyptus and Lemongrass essential oils, two oils bugs hate! So I went to work applying a generous amount of the Smooth onto my exposed skin, arms, neck, shins and ankles (yes I was giving this a TRUE test and wore calf to ankle exposed pants, socks and shoes). Then off Kona and I went! Since this sweet dog was close to 15 years old at the time of our hike, we took our time walking through the woods, crossing creeks on plank bridges stationed directly in the middle of where flying insects both live and FEED. We spent a total of 60 minutes in the woods before emerging into a lovely grassy area that was perfect for us to rest. There were a lot of bugs here too! They swarmed around us as we rested on the lawn and I tried my best to resist swatting them away. After all, I was putting my products to the test. After several hours of our journey had passed, I took a moment to see how many times I was bitten throughout the day. I was pleased to find only one solitary bite, which was on my left shoulder blade. I'm guessing I simply missed that area when I was applying the oil earlier. Either way, I was pretty pumped! Looks like the Smooth combination of Eucalyptus and Lemongrass essential oils came to the rescue yet again. It's no wonder these two oils are well regarded as bug repellents in the Aromatherapy world. And what about that one slightly irritating spot where some lucky bug got a tiny drink of my sweet blood? I put on a little dab of that Luscious Facial Oil I had handy. The itch went away and I had a huge smile on my face. Nothing was gonna get in the way of me enjoying nature in full bloom with my best friend. Since the time of the above referenced walk occurred, I've put several other Zeeta Body Oil blends to this test. I'm thrilled to report to you that the following Zeeta Oils work wonderfully to keep biting bugs away. Try Happy Hippy, No Worries, Exhilarating Eucalyptus, or Take a Load Off for yourself and please leave us a comment about how our oils worked for you. • 5 Uses of Body Scrubs for the Ultimate Glow

What is the first thing that comes to mind when we talk about skincare? Whenever we discuss skin care, we sometimes focus on our face and forget about the skin on the rest of our body. Our body's skin is just as important as our face, but it does not receive the same level of attention. As a result, extra dead cells begin to accumulate, resulting in dullness, creepy skin and even body acne. Exfoliating your skin is one of the best ways to achieve smoother skin. Body scrubs help to exfoliate and provide the nourishment our body needs to glow. Let us examine the advantages of using body scrubs and how to do so. Let’s Discuss the Benefits of Body Scrubs: 1. How to Exfoliate for Glowing Skin: Body scrubs are generally used for exfoliation. The topmost layer of our skin sheds dead skin cells, which can accumulate with time. Scrubbing the dead cells away helps bring out the inner glow and provides fresh and radiant skin. 2. Better Circulation: Massaging a body scrub into the skin is great for blood circulation and lymphatic drainage in our body. Better circulation would lead to more oxygen reaching different parts of the body and ultimately provide good skin health and a clearer complexion. 3. No More Breakouts: Over time, dead skin cells can lead to clogged pores and breakouts. Exfoliating regularly can prevent this by removing the dead cells and opening up the clogged pores. People with acne-prone or dry skin get the most benefit from these salt and sugar body scrubs. 4. Reverses Skin Damage: The sun can cause skin damage, like tanning, from its harmful UV rays. Body scrubs that specialize in removing dead surface skin can be very beneficial. It also smoothes out dark patches, reduces blackheads and evens out skin tone. 5. Stress Relief and Relaxation: The sensory experience of massaging a body scrub onto your skin goes beyond just the surface and relieves stress. Experience a mini spa at home with these aromatic scrubs! Keep your mind calm and relaxed while reaping the benefits of the scrubs. How to Use Body Scrubs Correctly? 1. Choose the Right Scrub: Selecting the right scrub can take time since different scrubs have different uses. Find out the ingredients of your scrub and consider how it will affect your skin. If you want to remove an uneven spray tan, smooth out bumpy skin, feel energized, or smell like oranges all day! Zeetabody has a range of aromatic salt and sugar scrubs for everyone's individual needs. 2. Gentle Massages: The skin can become irritated by vigorous rubbing, so avoid it. Instead, apply the scrub to your skin by massaging in gentle circular motions. Gently massage your scrub into all areas of your body, paying special attention to your elbows, knees, and heels because these body parts tend to have rougher skin. 3. Follow with Moisturizer: Moisturizing and hydrating the skin is a must after exfoliating, but not always required when using a scrub that contains oils like Zeeta Body Salt and sugar scrubs. If your scrub doesn’t contain a moisturizing element, try Zeetabody body oils for ultimate hydration, which also calm your senses and make you smell like a flower. 4. Don’t Over Exfoliate: Depending on your skin type, you should use a body scrub occasionally. Once per week might be adequate for sensitive skin. You can use a body scrub up to three times per week on less sensitive skin. To sum up, body scrubs provide a more holistic approach to skincare than just the physical benefits. They give you the chance to connect with your body and enhance your general well-being. Body scrubs can help you achieve smooth, glowing skin, but they can also promote a closer relationship with yourself if you use them properly. Check out the aromatic salt and sugar body scrub from Zeetabody and absorb the goodness into your skin.

  • Tips to Get Smooth and Acne-Free Skin This Fall

As the seasons change, our skin needs time to adapt. This can lead to irritation, excess oil production, and acne. It is no surprise that having clean and smooth skin can boost confidence. But a lot of people suffer from acne and oily skin, which can seem like a difficult task to achieve. Studies have shown that people who suffer from breakouts, pimples, and other skin imperfections have low self-esteem. Let’s understand why breakouts happen and how we can prevent them and achieve glowing skin. Why Do We Get Acne? Acne occurs for a variety of reasons. It can result from clogged pores brought on by hormonal changes, excessive oil production, and the buildup of dead skin cells. External factors like stress, pollution, and a bad skincare routine can make things worse. Acne During The Dry Weather: Our skin changes with the weather. Dryness and excess moisture in the air can affect the quality of the skin. Breakouts may appear suddenly as a result of a change from warm, humid weather to cooler, drier conditions. As the humidity levels fall, the skin produces more oil to make up for the dryness, which could result in clogged pores and acne. Additionally, the combination of indoor heating and outdoor chill can throw the skin's pH off, which can lead to breakouts. Want to treat acne naturally? Try: 1. Volcanic Facial Mask: For ages, people have used volcanic ash clay on their skin because it is one of the most effective healing clays known to them. It is packed with natural volcanic ash and kaolin clay and draws out pollutants and excess oil from the pores. Feel the freshness and youthfulness of your skin after a single use of this volcanic clay mask. 2. Balancing Act Facial Serum: This amazing serum contains a mix of essential oils that leave a sweet trail of tangerine aroma. This serum is great for regulating skin tone and managing acne. It is a mild yet powerful serum that helps restore the balance of your skin. It also helps control oil production, reduce inflammation and clear the skin. 3. Luscious Facial Serum: Want to get that smooth skin? The Luscious Serum is a powerful facial moisturizer infused and it has collagen-boosting herbs. Made with a blend of essential oils, they have antiseptic and antibacterial properties that fight acne and promote the regeneration of skin cells, leaving you with a subtle glow everywhere you go. Takeaways: Having acne-free skin is a dream for many. Acne can cause low self-esteem, forcing people to miss out on stuff. It is necessary to address the underlying causes of acne and select the right products with the right compounds. Healing ingredients like volcanic clay masks, essential oil-infused serums, and moisturizers can help heal the skin naturally and retain the skin barrier. Remember that having clear skin requires patience and consistency. Stick to your daily skincare routine, and remember that results take time to show up.

  • 4 Ways to Rejuvenate Your Skin After Summer

Our skin can feel the changes of the seasons, as the summer breeze switches to fall’s chilly, abrupt winds. There is typically a noticeable difference on our skin as the weather changes during the last months of the year. Fall is usually windy and leaves us dry, with less moisturized skin. We may need to give our skin a little extra care and attention as a result of the fluctuating temperatures and the summer sun's after-effects. In this blog, we will examine some of summer skin damage and explore how to soothe it with a holistic approach. Ready to prep your skin for fall? Read on. What Are Some Signs Of Skin Damage From The Sun? The golden rays of summer can sometimes hide the obvious skin warnings of prolonged sun exposure. These signs become more noticeable and prominent as time passes. The symptoms may include a feeling of general dehydration, noticeable fine lines, and an uneven skin tone. A dull complexion can result from the buildup of dead skin cells. It is critical to understand these signs and take action to heal and rejuvenate your skin. Making Changes to Your Skincare Routine: 1. Gentle Cleansing and Exfoliation: Start by switching to a mild cleanser that will not remove the natural oils from your skin. Exfoliation can help remove dead skin cells from your body and reveal a new, more youthful-looking complexion. The salt body scrubs from Zeeta Body, which are frequently used to exfoliate the skin on the body, while also hydrating skin, can also be used lightly on the face to encourage skin renewal. Or choose a softer sugar-based scrub from the ZB body care line to use as a more delicate face scrub that is also good for use as a body scrub. The choice is yours, sea salt vs. sugar. 2. Hydration, Hydration, Hydration: Keeping your skin as hydrated as possible is one of the keys to healthy fall skin. Use natural body care products on your skin that are nutrient-rich because they attract and hold moisture, while feeding your skin what's needed for a healthy glow. Zeeta Body's aromatherapy body oils have nourishing qualities and can be used on all skin types. Apply oils to damp skin for deep hydration. Choose the blend that's best for you, here's all of your options. 3. Healing Essential Oils: Your skin might need a little extra attention as the weather cools. The calming and soothing properties of essential oils like chamomile, lavender, and geranium are well known. Use the selection of therapeutic-grade essential oils from Zeeta Body in your skincare routine to treat skin sensitivities. There's an aromatherapy body oil that's perfect for your skin. 4. Don’t Skip The Sunscreen: Do not say goodbye to your sunscreen just because summer is over. Although the sun may be less intense, harmful UV rays are still present. To prevent premature aging and protect the skin barrier, choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Don't Forget to Look After Your Body! Since the skin on our arms and legs is thicker, we can’t see the damage or the changes when the seasons change. If you have dry or inflamed skin, go for the Zeetabody Voodoo Oil, which is a blend of three effective oils. It is also a great option if you have tattoos, old or new, to keep them moisturized. Takeaways: Changing weather conditions requires a new skincare regimen to protect against and suit the new environment. After summer, dullness is a common problem for many, but with proper care and nourishment, the skin can heal. To maintain the glow for fall, keep the skin moisturized, exfoliated, and hydrated, and don't forget to use sunscreen.

Step 2: Gather Your Supplies To use a body scrub effectively, you'll need a few basic supplies: Your chosen body scrub A bathtub or shower Clean towel Step 3: Preparing Your Skin I like to choose between two different options here. You can either Start by wetting your skin thoroughly in the bath or shower. The warm water can help to open up pores and softening the skin, making it easier for the scrub to exfoliate effectively. You can also soak in the bathtub for a few minutes prior to scrubbing, if you prefer. Starting with wet skin will result in a softer scrub. Scrub your skin while it's dry, similar to dry brushing techniques. The difference you will notice when using this technique vs. a dry brush is that the oils in your ZB Scrub will provide some moisture, so it will be slightly less aggressive than using a dry brush technique to exfoliate. Step 4: Apply the Body Scrub Take a generous amount of your chosen body scrub and apply it to your skin in circular motions. You can choose to start from your feet and work your way up to your neck, or begin at the top of your body and work your way down to your feet. Be sure to pay extra attention to rough areas like elbows, knees, and heels. Absolutely scrub your arms, chest, and back if you can reach it. Step 5: Gentle Exfoliation While applying the scrub, use gentle pressure to avoid damaging your skin. Be especially careful around sensitive skin areas, like face, chest and neck. You can use an exfoliating glove or a soft bath brush to assist with the scrubbing process, but that's not really necessary with Zeeta Body scrubs. Remember that less is often more when it comes to pressure, avoid over-scrubbing if you notice that it irritates your skin. If you would like to learn how to use a face scrub and how a face scrub for acne can also help, read this >>>. Step 6: Rinse Thoroughly After scrubbing all areas of your body, rinse off the scrub with warm water. Ensure that none of the scrub solids, salt or sugar, remains on your skin. The oils in our body and face scrubs will leave a light layer of hydration to your skin, continue to massage the oil into your damp skin after the solids are washed away. You should notice an immediate difference in the texture and appearance of your skin – it should feel smoother and look more radiant. Step 7: Pat Dry Gently pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Avoid rubbing vigorously, as your skin may be more sensitive after exfoliation. Step 8: Moisturize, if needed Lock in the benefits of your body scrub by applying a nourishing moisturizer, like a body oil immediately after drying off. Since the Zeeta Body scrubs contain hydrating oils, it's unusual to need this additional step, but do what makes your skin hydrated and happy. Here's a list of all our aromatherapy body oils to add extra moisture to your skin and an added mood boost to your day. Shop Body Oils Here>>>. Step 9: Frequency We get asked 'How often should I use my body/ face scrub? Using a body scrub 1-3 times a week is typically sufficient for most skin types. Over-exfoliating can lead to skin irritation, so be mindful not to use a body scrub too frequently. There is it! Incorporating a body scrub into your skincare routine is a simple and effective way to achieve soft, smooth, and radiant skin. By following these steps and choosing the right product for your skin type, you can enjoy the many benefits of body scrubs and make them a luxurious part of your self-care routine. • The Guide to Using Face Scrubs for Acne-Prone Skin

Acne can be an irritating and persistent problem that affects people of all ages. While there are countless skincare products on the market promising to banish those blemishes, one effective and often overlooked solution is a face scrub specially formulated for acne-prone skin. In this comprehensive guide, we'll explore the benefits of using a face scrub for acne and provide tips on how to choose the right one for your skin type. Understanding Acne-Prone Skin: Before delving into the world of face scrubs, it's essential to understand the nature of acne-prone skin. Acne occurs when hair follicles become clogged with oil, dirt and dead skin cells, leading to the formation of pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads. Those with acne-prone skin tend to produce excess sebum (oil), which can exacerbate the problem. How Face Scrubs Help: Face scrubs are mostly physical (and sometimes chemical) exfoliants that work by sloughing away dead skin cells on the skin's surface. For those with acne-prone skin, this process can be incredibly beneficial. Here's how: Unclogging Pores: Acne often begins with clogged pores. A face scrub or a french clay facial mask, helps to remove the buildup of dead skin cells and oil, reducing the risk of pore blockages. Promoting Cell Turnover: Regular exfoliation encourages the turnover of skin cells, helping to fade acne scars and revealing smoother, healthier skin. Enhancing Product Absorption: By removing the top layer of dead skin cells, face scrubs allow other acne-fighting products, such as serums and creams, to penetrate the skin more effectively. Choosing the Right Face Scrub: Not all face scrubs are created equal, and selecting the right one for your skin type, especially if you have acne-prone skin, is crucial. Here are some key factors to consider: Ingredients: Look for face scrubs containing ingredients like tea tree, mint and geranium essential oils, which are known for their acne-fighting properties. These acne-treating oils, along with a soft exfoliant, can penetrate the pores and help break down sebum and dead skin cells. Avoid Harsh Abrasives: While physical exfoliants can be effective, avoid scrubs with harsh or large particles, as they can cause micro-tears in the skin, leading to inflammation and worsening acne. We recommend using a Zeeta Body sugar scrub in conjunction with a french clay mask, weekly on your face, neck and chest, to prevent acne. Use a soft sugar based face scrub no more than 2-3 times a week to prevent over-exfoliation, which can irritate the skin. Hydrating Ingredients: Look for face scrubs that also contain moisturizing ingredients like natural oils to prevent excessive drying of the skin. Patch Test: Before using any new product on your face, perform a patch test on a small area to ensure it doesn't cause irritation or an allergic reaction. Conclusion: In the quest for clear and acne-free skin, don't overlook the power of a good face scrub. When used correctly and with the right ingredients, face scrubs can be a valuable addition to your skincare routine, helping to unclog pores, promote cell turnover, and enhance the effectiveness of other acne treatments. Remember that the best acne scrub is personal, what works for your friend may not be the best face scrub for you. However, always consult with a dermatologist if you have severe or persistent acne to determine the best approach for your unique skin needs. Remember, consistency and patience are key to achieving the radiant, blemish-free complexion you desire. Keep it real, Christine

  • Fall clean up for quick and easy soup recipes

It's almost fall here in the desert southwest and we're super excited for the new season and all that it brings, especially nutritious soups! At this time of the year, we are focused on getting the vegetable garden ready for cold weather crops. This includes clearing out the summer garden, and shift to different garden plantings. I just direct sowed some seeds in the raised beds today, arugula, beets, bunching onions and spinach. Staying healthy includes eating real food and there's nothing more satisfying than enjoying the food you've grown yourself! Since we're clearing out for the new season, we decided to include a fridge clear out for a perfectly clean slate to enter the fall - and to add to the garden fixings for a full and delicious meal. Here's my favorite, simple soup from my Grandma's recipe book >>>recipe here. Once you've harvested what's available in your garden, browse through your fridge and cabinets to see what you have available to use. Soup or fried rice is the easiest way that we know of to make use of anything that needs cleaning out whilst providing lots of immune-boosting benefits in one simple dish. Let's ignite that proverbial fire and whip up a quick and easy soup that will impress everyone! For a quick and easy soup recipes that can be ready to enjoy in less than an hour: 1. Choose your aromatics; onions of any type (sweet onions, scallions, shallots) and garlic. 2. Grab whatever other items you have in your fridge that you'd like to get rid of; vegetables, rice, beans, etc. 3. Dice the aromatics and any other vegetables that you plan to use. 4. Saute onions and garlic for a few minutes. Then add the other raw, diced vegetables that you have ready. Add harder vegetables, like carrots, celery, and raw potatoes first. Include softer veggies, like mushrooms, zucchini, and peppers after the harder veggies have cooked for 8-10 minutes. Cook over low-medium heat until all of the veggies are tender. 5. Add stock or water. How much depends on how much soup you're making. 6. Season your soup with salt, pepper, and other available spices. We enjoy using parsley, chives, chili powder, and a dash of all-spice. Occasionally a splash of hot sauce or chili oil adds a favorable flavor too. 6. Lastly, add cooked rice, noodles, or beans and simmer until all ingredients are warm. Take a taste and adjust accordingly - adding more water or spices as needed. 7. Serve with bread, toast, or crackers and enjoy! Clearing out the old helps us heal and renew. Just as healthy skin helps set the foundation for your overall health, healthy soil is the key to a beautiful and abundant garden, and healthy food leads to a healthy digestive and immune systems... You get the picture. Whether we're talking about your garden, your refrigerator/cabinets, a thorough cleaning helps us prepare for the new (much anticipated) season ahead. When it comes to gardening, there are several methods to consider. If you plan to follow the till method, make sure you remove everything. This includes any produce, plants, roots, mulch, and, of course, weeds. Clear all plants out of your garden, except for things you may be overwintering like spinach, scallions, garlic, or perennials. Alternatively, you may prefer the no-till method, cut the tops off of all the plants and either dispose of them, or add them to your compost. Then, pull and dispose of all the weeds. Finally, cover the surface of your garden with a fine mulch or compost. This will help the soil to breathe, rest, and rejuvenate until your next planting. Following these steps will ensure a healthy, happy start for whatever you intend to plant next. I hope you are enjoying the shift in the seasons and are ready for soup season too. • Can a Mindfulness Journal Help You Channel Your Thoughts and Emotions?

Growing up, most of us were taught to keep our emotions in check. Retrospecting our thoughts and understanding our feelings has been an essential part of the teenage years. As adults, with our busy lives, we don’t get extra time to sit and unfold our thoughts. Do you know that it is not a good idea to suppress your feelings? This can result in anxiety and physical ailments too. Gaining the ability to control your thoughts and emotions can change your life in positive ways. Here’s how journaling can help with the process. Create a Door to Your Inner Self Think of the geography of your soul as being represented in your journal. Every page is a path that leads to your deepest feelings and thoughts. Journaling enables us to pause and consider our lives and emotions when time seems to be moving too quickly, it’s a time-tested way to lay everything out for you to contemplate on. How to Quiet Your Mind Is your mind like a noisy classroom? Are your thoughts hitting the walls like rubber balls? Writing in a journal provides order to the chaos and acts like a canvas. Write down all of your ideas, concerns, and tasks. The more you write, the better. The mind's chatter starts to quiet down as it becomes involved with the page. Finding New Gems In the same way that yoga equipment assists in the asana practice, journaling supports the path to self-discovery. Thoughts that were not obvious to you previously will soon surface. Once your thoughts start going down in the journal, fresh ideas will emerge. This can also lead to self-discovery and awareness of new things. Eliminate the stressors Stress is like an uninvited guest who stays too long. But there’s a way to let it out of the door. By putting your stressors on paper, you are sending them on their way out of your head. Journaling seeps into your thoughts, bringing peace, just like our organic body oils do when they penetrate your skin and bring calm. Self-Growth and Success Personal development takes time. It involves a number of minute adjustments and developing a routine. Journaling is the watering can for these seeds of change. Outline your objectives, your development, and any setbacks. Documenting the journey gives us a perspective that helps us move forward. Remember that journaling is self-care and by maintaining a mindfulness journal you can remain balanced and aware of your emotions. These holistic techniques provide a break from the fast-paced world we live in and a way to direct our mental currents into a peaceful flow. A few minutes of writing down your thoughts can have an impact that reaches your very core. Every self-care ritual, whether it be the quiet pages of a journal, the click of your key board, or the soothing comfort of lavender-scented eye pillows, and the energizing dance of salt body scrubs, becomes a touch on the canvas of self-care. Let us keep in mind that we are creating a story of self-love and empowerment as we channel our thoughts, emotions, and aspirations. Allow the journal's pages on taking care of yourself to lead us to clarity, peace, and personal growth.
