Sustainability is Important to Us

Updated: Jun 26, 2020

We know that you appreciate our commitment to sustainability. Here at Zeeta, we strive to make decisions that support a sustainable future. Here are some of the ways we support a greener future, for you, for us and for our planet.

1. All of our products are made from responsibly sourced ingredients

We pride ourselves in making products that are 100% vegan, preservative-free, and made from premium quality natural ingredients. Because of this, we have the highest standards for buying ingredients that are certified organic and sustainably sourced.

2. All of our bottles and containers are made of recyclable material.

The plastic bottles and containers we use are high quality PET plastic and are valuable to recyclers. They can be easily made into items such as fleece clothing, carpet, or more bottles. To recycle, simply wash out container and remove the label. Read more about what plastics you should recycle here.

We source renewable bamboo spoons to scoop our scrubs and large salt soaks.

3. Our philosophy: the less packaging, the better.

We understand the importance of minimizing the amount of waste we generate. For this reason, we forgo unnecessary boxes for our containers. In addition, we've recently begun to use 100% compostable mailer bags instead of boxes for most of our orders. To discard, simply add to your (or a friend's, if you don't have one) compost bin. If you do add these mailers to your municipal trash, you can feel good knowing that they will break down in record time without adding toxic chemicals to our landfills!

4. We strive to reuse all shipping materials

While not always recyclable, materials like bubble wrap and air bags can be used several times. We reuse all packaging materials that we receive in the process of making your favorite products. In addition, we collect packaging items from local friends that would otherwise be disposed of. We encourage you to save the shipping materials you receive in your Zeeta Body order to be reused at a later date.

We will continue to seek and implement ways to reduce, reuse and encourage recycling! Thank you for your support on this mission.
